The more leisurely cyclists will find a number of well maintained bicycle paths on which to explore the region and its four main towns. The more ambitious mountain bikers can explore the region's nine tributary valleys, where they can find our traditional mountain restaurants.

Mountain bikers can choose their favorites from 15 different bike tours. Tours with an altitude difference of up to 1400 m will challenge even the more experienced bikers.

Street cyclists will find their challenge on one of the many mountain passes in and around the Lungau region. Trips to the Lakes of Carinthia or to the neighboring region of upper Styria are very popular destinations.

The Lungau is Austria's highest e-bike region.
With a little help from an electric motor, even the less experienced cyclists
will be able to reach their destination. The Lungau region is well equipped for
e-bikers and offers bike rentals, charging stations, maps and even guided e-bike tours.
